There is also a Juhu village in Navi Mumbai. Vashi stands in this village, and I wondered why the place was also called Juhu a long time ago, which led me to this.

You must bring out a book on this for the world to understand how language is usurped by the powers that be for their petty desires and twisted understanding of history and why those who are closest to nature preserve heritage and language. There was a very good article decades ago published in Down to Earth on the connection between language and biodiversity. This piece reminded me of it.
