These photographs and drawings are amazing! Recently, I was visiting my village in Goa and we were hearing from older family members about what the landscapes used to be like....it is so important to remember...maybe the memories will help us save the nature that we can!

I can imagine how Goan landscape has changed or is changing. All long the west coast, the rapidly urbanising villages have all the old water channels and fields remade to suit our need for housing, end of agriculture and traditional fisheries. In Navi Mumbai that’s taken to an extreme. But bits like these survive. As for preserving, there is no hope from humans but like the title of Krupa Ge’s book in Chennai floods of December 2015 - The Rivers Remember and will make us remember one day. https://www.amazon.in/Rivers-Remember-Shocking-Truth-Manmade/dp/9388754034

Gracias. Navi Mumbai también es una ciudad donde los flamencos vienen cada invierno. Compartiré algunas imágenes contigo. De hecho, están aquí en este momento.
